18^th International Conference on Electroanalysis (ESEAC 2020/2022)

The 18th International Conference on Electroanalysis ESEAC 2020 was postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic and finally took place in Vilnius this year 5–9 June 2022 at Life Sciences Centre of University. FTMC also a co-organiser. Scientific Organising Committee conference made up electroanalysts from different countries: Jiři Barek (Czech Republic), Anastasios Economou (Greece), Elena Ferapontova (Denmark), Christine Kranz (Germany), Alexander Kuhn (France), Rasa Pauliukaite (Lithuania) - Chair Committee, José Pingarron (Spain), Wolfgang Schuhmann Joseph Wang (USA). Despite recent years, scientific level was, as always, absolutely high. Although itself devoted electroanalysis, there were presentations batteries, spectroscopy, laser surface processing, etc., all these are related development research autonomous electrochemical sensing systems. This small terms number participants, which influenced by both Russian invasion Ukraine. A total 140 researchers 23 countries attended conference. Unwin (UK) “Up close: new ways see electrodes electrified interfaces”. There 7 keynote world-renowned scientists: Eric Bakker (Switzerland), Susana Inés Córdoba de Torresi (Brazil), Dermot Diamond (Ireland), Ritu Kataki (UK), Gediminas Niaura (Lithuania), James F. Rusling (USA), Jan Vacek Republic). In addition, 13 invited lectures presented most scientists closely associated with community: Christopher M.A. Brett (Portugal), Dr. Victor Diculescu (Romania), Samo Hočevar (Slovenia), Lars Jeuken Anthony Killard Christos Kokkinos Fred Lisdat Rodrigo Munoz Arūnas Ramanavičius Manel del Valle (Spain) Edita Voitechovič (Lithuania). addition above-mentioned presentations, 41 oral 73 poster young experienced electroanalysts. 5 exhibitors offered more opportunities than usual participate actively.
